BELL BUCKLE RECORDS

Singer/Songwriter Kristi Morris and her Dejembe playing husband Jeff Kellogg have joined the BELL BUCKLE RECORDS family out of Bell Buckle, Tennessee. VALERIE SMITH of Liberty Pike is managing Kristi and Jeff's career now and is so excited about the energy and team being built around them! They are all thrilled to be going into the studio soon to release their first singles of their original music and record a long awaited brand new album. 

Being around Nashville the last couple of years has been good to Kristi and Jeff as Kristi was signed with CRITERION MUSIC PUBLISHING.  President Bo Goldsen says "Kristi Morris is a Diamond in the Rough.  Her songs are special, and will make her stand out with the best."  Bo is the publisher of many songs by Lyle Lovette, Rodney Crowell and Roseanne Cash just to mention a few.  Obviously, it is a total honor for Kristi to be in the company of those great songwriters.

The music Kristi and Jeff creates is Americana with a hint of Country and Folk. Their blended sound seems to stir an inviting energy with listeners. Kristi's voice is solid and sure yet delicate and feminine. Her acoustic guitar style coupled with Jeff's Dejembe hand drum constantly amazes audiences with how much sound this Duo creates with what little they have on stage.  It is a great show not to be missed!  Different...in a real good kind of way.
