Hello! We are Kristi and Jeff Kellogg from Walker, Minnesota. We are the co-creators of the band HARD EARNED CASH, a stage show tribute to the music, lives and marriage of JOHNNY CASH & JUNE CARTER CASH. We, Kristi and Jeff Kellogg, also married, put our hearts and souls into this 2 hour performance because frankly we just flat out love JOHNNY & JUNE music and what they were all about as musicians and as people…the good, the bad and the ugly. This is why we enjoy bringing this show to all audiences across America. Their music is timeless and appreciated by a very large part of the world and all ages. It is Americana and Rootsy and we believe that is why people respond overwhelmingly positive to this show!
There are the original JOHNNY AND JUNE fans since the beginning in the late 50's, 60's and then generations passed their music on to their kids, but the 2005 award winning Motion Picture "WALK THE LINE" introduced these legends to a whole new crowd of people and their story and music, keeping their story and music living on. Even though JOHNNY AND JUNE have both passed we are honored to continue to sing their songs and act out their story on stage.
From the beginning to the end of our show we roll old video footage on a large screen as we sing their big hits like FOLSOM PRISON, WALK THE LINE, JACKSON, BOY NAMED SUE and many more. It is truly a warm, memorable, lighthearted performance not to be missed!
